And the angel showed me a pure river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony. And they were not afraid to die.

And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life, which belongs to the Lamb who was killed before the world was made.

"Anyone who is willing to hear should listen to the Spirit and understand what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Everyone who is victorious will eat from the tree of life in the paradise of God.

Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.

This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.)

All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.

Nothing evil will be allowed to enter—no one who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

And one-third of all things living in the sea died. And one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.
